Outdoors is adjacent to the large game room which has a pool table, foosball table, bar, and full-size refrigerator is an amazing set-up for gatherings. Gather on the decks or patio and BBQ for friends and family (seating for 36 people on our outside decks and patios combined). A favorite of all children is the playground in the yard. The home has 2 kayaks, a canoe, and paddle board for guests to use at their convenience at no cost. The private boat dock can accommodate at least 2 boats or party barges plus it has a jet ski ramp. The lake side has a yard with a private playground and sandy beach for children to play most times of the year (depending on lake water level). There is outside seating for large parties to dine and BBQ. There is an upstairs deck off the main floor, a large deck off the bottom floor and one more small round deck very close to the water with a wonderful patio set under a Gazebo that feels as if you are practically on the water. With ample space for socializing and privacy for everyone, this home balances luxury, comfort, and fun. If you crave more excitement during your stay explore the larger Bass Lake area, experience some nearby hiking trials or take a day trip to Yosemite National Park or the Giant Redwood Trees in the Mariposa Grove located in Wawona.
Although, the home is 5000 sq ft., it feels very cozy. It has 3 stories, and there are wonderful lake views from every level. There are 3 bedrooms on the 3rd floor. These include the master which has a king bed and a private bathroom with a shower and a separate oversized jet tub. The other two bedrooms both have double beds and great views of the lake. There is also a loft with two, twin beds. There is a full bathroom on this floor with a shower/tub. The main floor has one bedroom which has a double bed, and it is located directly across from a 1/2 bath. There is a wing over the garage off the main floor which has two, large bedrooms that share a full bathroom with a shower/tub. One bedroom has a king bed and a twin, and the other bedroom has a king and 2 twin couch beds. The bottom floor has one more bedroom with a king bed and a twin over double bunkbed. There is a bathroom across that has a shower. The main floor has a kitchen, dining room, and a cozy living room with unbelievable views of the lake. It also has a terrific deck off the living room with a comfortable patio set that is great for coffee in the mornings, cocktails in the afternoons, and dinner in the evenings. The deck off this floor gives access to the front door as well as stairs down to the bottom deck, down to the grass and playground. The bottom deck which accommodates large parties for dining and BBQ has access to the lake and boat dock. The main floor has a laundry room for convenience. The downstairs has a terrific bar, counter and sink, and full-size fridge/freezer. There are a sliding glass door and large windows for great lake views with access to the lake, fenced in yard with artificial turf, playground and boat dock. There is convenient access from the front of the house directly to the bottom level and lake without going through the house.

Rates & Availability
Cancellation Policy: Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Twenty-five percent (25.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

About the Owner
We are Robert and Ruth Hillyard, we have lived and loved this area since 1978. Our family and family home are everything to us! My wife and I custom built our home in 1996 with family gatherings in mind. We are hard-working, retired restaurant owners (The OL' Kettle Restaurant in Oakhurst, CA), that want are children and grandchildren to enjoy our family home for many years and generations. In order for our dreams to come true we need to share our little piece of paradise with other loving families and friends. There are so many places to sit and relax, gather and play games, enjoy meals as a large group or have an intimate cocktail with a few. My grand children love to run around the grass playing tag. They spend hours swinging on the playground set and sliding down the slide over and over again. Not to forget their building sandcastles and throwing the tennis ball into the lake for our black lab. Our children now older, love the fact that they can take an easy walk to the Pines Village for a doughnut and coffee in the morning or a drink at the local bar at night without needing to drive. We love to sit on our deck and watch our family and friends enjoy everything from the boating and tubing, to jumping off the dock into the lake, to swinging on the playground and hear the sounds of pool sticks and laughter. We can see or hear it all just sitting on our deck enjoying the view and a cup of coffee. We have no doubt the one thing to be had at our Hillyard Lake House is not a good time but a GREAT TIME!!! The only thing you will need to bring is your family and maybe a few beach towels, and the only thing you will leave with is a smile on your face and a scrapbook full of amazing memories!!!
